The theme for this year will be decided following a poll of members, listing a number of themes suggested at our AGM in 2024.  Once selected, this entry will be updated.  Andy is no stranger to KPC and is a much welcomed returning speaker and judge.  He has published several books on his craft and inspires and works with individuals or small groups.  He says on his website that his photography is about a connection, an embrace, sometimes quirky and sometimes reflective, however the client wishes to be portrayed.

Craig is an award winning Pet Photographer based not far from Kirriemuir on the road to Glamis.  He won the Scottish Pet Industry Award for Best Pet Photographer in Scotland in two consecutive years in 2020 & 2021 as well as the SME UK Best Pet Photographer in the UK again in consecutive years in 2021 & 2022.  He has also won Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards for his work with the Guild of Professional Photographers.  Craig is well known in Kirriemuir for his involvement in a young people’s camera club is a photography group which introduces new and improving photographers aged 12 – 25 years to a new hobby.  He is also the official photographer for Bonfest International Rock Festival which welcomes AC/DC fans from all over the world to Kirriemuir in May each year.

Judged live by members present, who knows what will appeal and which great images may be eliminated.

This year’s competition will start with 64 images to allow more time for consideration by members.  Each member should submit one digital image initially in the usual way.  If additional images are required, this will be announced in good time.
